What might happen if the federal government makes cuts to health care spending?

There would be fewer hospital services, and research would decline.

    Explanation:

    With less amount of money coming from the government, treating all the patients that a hospital used to will become much more expensive. Most likely, the extra costs will end up being redirected to the patients. Research wouldn't be affect by this, though, because it is not directly connected to health care costs.
