The greatest impact of the Colombian exchange was the transfer of varieties of food, culture, and people.
Explanation:
As knowledge about the discovery of new lands spread across the European countries, thousands of people preferred moving to these lands. The varieties of food that were unknown to the people of Europe but were grown in the new world made their way into the old world through the people who travelled across the ocean frequently.
The vast stretches of land turned into huge farms and with that emerged the need for slaves to work on the farms. These slaves were brought from the continent of Africa. In this manner, the exchange of food, people, and cultures took place over a large period of time.
