How many courts does the constitution create? where do the other federal courts come from?

    The United States Constitution established one court - the Supreme Court. It also gave the Supreme court the power to establish the other federal courts. The lower federal courts are created and ratified by the United States Congress. Article Three of the Consitution established the judicial branch of the federal government. It consists of the Supreme court and the lower courts that are created by Congress. These courts were created to administer justice fairly and impartially. The courts also have to operate within Congress and the Constitution
