Buddha's words and the fundamental teachings of the monks can be seen from sacred texts called Religious text. These are collectively called Tripitaka (Pali Canon). It is presented by using India's ancient language called Pali that is closer to the Buddha.

There are other three non canonical texts of Buddhists seemed as Pali Canon, The Tibetan Book Of The Dead, and Mahayana Sutras. The Tripitaka refers to the word of Buddha. It possesses the Buddha's speech along with the lessons to his students.
