    A is wrong because Brittania rules the waves

    B is wrong because women didn't get the right to vote until the mid/late 1900s

    C is wrong because the American government saw native Americans as a roadblock in the way of progression

    D is the only one that makes sense, as Americans now didn't have to pay taxes to Great Britain.
