    The civic responsibilities of Texas citizens are following state and federal laws, being a citizen registered to vote may be chosen to serve on a jury through a random selection. Also Texans are also required to pay taxes to state and local government, then male us citizens residing in Texas who are 18 yrs and older must be registered with the armed forces which allows us military to institute a draft. So the civic responsibilities are, obeying laws, participating in jury duty, paying taxes and registering with the armed forces.

    The importance of civic is that citizen are able to identify, manage, learn about the rights and responsibilities of a person. The second is that they identify the roles and responsibilities of family members. In addition, citizen can interact and communicate politely with others. They can also understand, maintain and appreciate the various religions, traditions and cultures found.
