    The answer is Spain. Spain was able to claim almost all the continents in the world. Spain decided to explore the New World with the hopes of finding the spice island. It also wanted to gain more wealth and introduce Christianity. Spain was able to Christianize many islands but they were also faced with many rebellion because of the abuses of some of their friars
