Sparta was considered by the athens, a lower class city state. the spartans were warriors and death in battle was considered their highest honor. their focus was not on art either. and they considered everyone in sparta of equal quality and did not have slaves. everyone was able to vote. so that leaves sea trade. the people of athens depended on sea ports for plenty of their goods.

    A. Athen and Sparta both honored their battle deaths.

    B. Art is somewhat appreciated in spartan (around the graves), much less than in Athen

    C. Spartan citizens have less right than Athenian ones (the spartan assembly can only say yes or no to the decisions made by the dual kings and the council of 28 elderlies)

    D. sea trade: Athenian economy was based on sea trade and industry (4 miles from the Aegean sea and good harbor), whereas the Spartans focused on agriculture (25 miles from a not so suitable harbor)

In conclusion: It should be sea trade
