Though both taught about predestination, each had his own teachings on the subject. Luther’s teachings on predestination also called single predestination, which basically means that God preordains that people are headed to heaven, but not to hell. On the other hand, Calvin’s teaching is a about double predestination. This means that God preordains that people will either go to heaven or hell. Most likely Luther will not agree with Calvin’s teachings on this subject. Still both were very strong leaders of their respective faiths and did much to spread Reformation’s ideals in Europe.
