Based on the video and what you've learned in this lesson, briefly justify your route and explain any difficulties a sailor from the 1400s might have had with the route.

    This is the answer of the Plato web.

    I chose a route around the southern tip of Africa because it would be quicker than crossing the Atlantic Ocean. Going around the Cape of Good Hope would seem dangerous for superstitious sailors, but they could use the navigation techniques that Bartolomeu Dias used, along with other technological advances of the time.
