    C: German submarines, called U-boats, sank many allied ships in the Atlantic ocean is correct.

    The Japanese did not develop long range rockets, the Germans did so A is incorrect. Stalin joined the allies so B is incorrect. Italy was not fighting in the ocean as far as i know. D is incorrect,
