In what ways are women given essentially equal treatment to men in these excerpts? In what ways are they treated unequally?

    The women were only given the same treatment as men in tow aspects: If a couple want to marry, they both should be of the same social class, and if they want to divorce, they couldn't do it if one of the parts didn’t agree. In every other aspect, women were completely subjugated to men; they should always consider what their husbands wants first, they must obey every command, and they even couldn't go outside without permission.
