How does jefferson connect the meaning of freedom to the idea of human rights?

    He establishes the three basic human rights that are unalienable and given the moment we're born which are the rights to liberty, life, and the pursuit of happiness. Free people are those who live in countries where the government is not preventing people from having their rights. If a government is preventing it then it's tyrannical and should be changed.
