He argued that there should only be one form of true government and that you may find this in a absolute monarchy.

Thomas Hobbes believed that citizens should agree to be ruled by leaders who possess absolute power.

    Explanation:

Hobbes sustained these ideas in his book "Leviathan: The Matter, Form, and Power of a Commonwealth, Ecclesiastical and Civil" (1651), in which he explains that in order to establish a civil society, avoid conflicts and maintain peace, all individuals should cede their natural rights to an absolute government under a "Social Contract," even meaning that they had to accept abuses of power. The English philosopher argued that if people did not agree to be ruled by leaders who possessed absolute power, they would live in what he called the "state of nature," that is, in solitude, insecurity and in a nasty and brutish way, where conflicts would reign.
