This massacre happened in St. Petersburg, Russia. Unarmed peasant workers were killed by Imperial Russian Army as they walked towards the winter palace. It happened on July 22, 1905, Sunday and the event was named "bloody or red Sunday". This event propelled several strikes and public protest thereafter.
