One of the demand of labour union was the low wages and contractual employment. The Labour supported that the wages should be high and the employment nature should be permanent instead of contract. Another opposition was raised by skilled workers regarding the less wages differential in skilled and unskilled labour. They wanted that the wages paid to skilled workers should be more than that of unskilled one.
