Three reasons for the industrial growth of the United States are:

1. Population growth: The great increase in population in the nineteenth and twentieth century was due to a high rate of growth, but above all, to European immigration, which began in the 1820s and increased in successive decades, reaching its peak in the 10 years before the First World War. The other two great regions of the territory, the south, and the west were, in essence, agricultural producers. Both supplying the industries and the populations of the northeast, and they were consumer markets for the industrial production of the north.
