    The United Nations Charter was the document upon which the United Nations was founded. It focused on this institution's commitment to human rights of the citizen's of the world by elevating the standards in the field of economy, health, and education. At the same time, it promoted the respect of fundamental freedoms for all without distinction of race, sex, language, and religion. The document was produced in 1945. Three years before the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.
