According to the "Charlemagne" section, what were the two policies that Charlemagne implemented when he took the throne? What was the result of the policies and how did it impact his warriors?

    The two policies that Charlemagne introduced were:

    Expansion - through expansion, he wanted to unite all Germanic people into one nation. Religion - Through this policy, he wanted to convert the entire Frankish kingdom to Christianity.

    Effect to the warriors

    Due to the expansion and Christianity policy, there was continued warfare.

    Charlemagne in an effort to boost the spirit of his warriors, he began to give them land that could enable them sustain themselves.

    In return, his warriors gave him loyalty and victory.
