The Atlantic charter was the outcome of Franklin D Roosevelt and Winston Churchill's meeting during Atlantic conference. It was a top secret conference held between the two leaders from 9 to 12 August 1941. During the conference both leaders discusses about the war strategy against the Axis powers and issued the charter on 14th August 1941. This charter was later used as the basis of United Nations Charter.
