Between Julius Caesar and Alexander the Great, which leader was more successful?

    Caesar got to 40, realised that he had done nothing of value, and went all out to make an impact from a lot lower standing position. However Caesar then went and displayed his military ability by defeating people with equivalent technology, training and tactical ability. Thus he is far superior to Alexander.
