The correct answers are C) Anti Federalist and D) Federalists.

The two political parties that were vying for power after the passage of the US Constitution were the Anti-Federalists and Federalist.

The Federalist Party believed in a strong federal government for the new nation. Alexander Hamilton was one of the federalist that believed so. On the other hand, the Anti-federalists opposed a strong central government because they considered that it could have the risk of turning into a dictatorship such as the case of the English monarchy. Thomas Jefferson was an Anti-federalist.
