    William Howard Taft. Roosevelt didn't seek reelection becouse he pledged that he will not run for his secod term (actually third, because first term of Roosevelt almost full 4 years was the term of president McKinley who was assasinated) However around 1910 decided tht Taft is bd forcountry' politics despite the fact that he backed him in 1908
