united states of america to halt fingers deliveries to Cuba. going through opposition from nearly every
path, Batista had little hope for survival. On January 1, 1959, he resigned and fled
the united states. Castro’s forces quickly assumed the management of the revolutionary
movement, and on January nine, Castro entered Havana
