    Indian National Congress (INC) was a political organization formed in 1885 to demand greater Indian participation in government. Until world war I its demand was modest after that under the supervision Gandhiji it started agitate for independence. Middle class society was its member.

    Explanation:

    Indian National Congress was formed in the year of 1885. It was in its full power during the active independence movement. Several political movement were organized under INC, the largest political organization. From the time of pre independence it was the only powerful party of India.

    After independence it spreads its branches to many state and became most powerful party with no opposition in many states of India. Many of the active swadeshi participants played a active role in forming INC.
