As Muslim spread and began ruling territories in non-Muslims countries, laws established to create the hierarchy with Muslims at the top. Muslim traders are the one who first to reach and form a strong trade with Southeast Asia. Trade brought new products to Muslim lands and made people rich. The non-Muslim were required to pay the jizya.
