Explain the impact the WWI had on woman.

Many women's husbands died making them widows ... this was not good for them since women were not suppose to care of themselves, and always be taken care of by men ... so many friends of these widows pushed them away for not being or having an ideal family which hurt many of the women without husbands, there were basically shunned.
