The pillars or obelisk of Aksum revealed a number of achievements such as its own alphabet; they used obelisks to mark emperor's tombs. They adopted Christianity instead of Judaic Religion even though they were influence by: Greeks, Egyptians, Romans and Arabs. Aksum was one of the more advanced cultures of Ancient Africa, they also minted coins and developed a terrace farming and irrigation allowing them to farm the local mountains and being more productive in agriculture.
