"C. It restricted the powers of the king and increased the power of Parliament" would be the best option, since this came at a time when people were growing more and more dissatisfied with monarchical rule.

    C. It restricted the powers of the king and increased the power of Parliament.

Following the Glorious Revolution, William and Mary took over control of England. With a goal of creating peace between Protestants and Catholics, William and Mary consented to the passage of the English Bill of Rights. The English Bill of Rights set a path for England becoming a constitutional monarchy. The document also became the example the US Bill of Rights followed. The document outlined individual freedoms the people of England should hold and be protected by the government in England.
