    Beowulf is an epic poem which was written by anonymous poet of Anglo-Saxon society. Higd and Thrift are the characters in the poem.

    Higd was the queen of the Geats who was married to Higlac, she is gracious and thoughtful and Thrift was a princess, she was beautiful but would kill a men who looked at her in the wrong way, her father sent her to be married with a young brave soldier named Offa.
