    formation of labor unions

    Explanation:

During the Industrial Revolution, lot of things changed, including the way of life and the type of jobs the people had. More and more people were abandoning the agriculture, and they were going in the cities to work in the factories. The owners of the factories though, despite making more and more profit, were keeping the wages at the same level for the workers, and on top of it, the workers didn't really had any rights at the workplace. This gradually was building up, so the workers were revolted, resulting in the formation of the labor unions so that they can act together for getting their rights and getting higher wages.
