    Buddhism was India Leading cultural export, and begun with the travel of Budha southwards. the indians merchants are responsible for spreading Indian culture. the indian governments did not attempt to dominate the people they came across, and thus it was voluntary as Indian merchants intermarried with other royal families they came across.
