How did the end of slavery change agriculture in the south?

    Are there any answer choices if not I would have to say the end of slavery changed the way slaves thought it allowed the slaves to be free and not have to work day and night on plantations and get whipped.

    Production fell as their mass numbers of laborers quickly declined and they had to transition to using less ineffective methods that did not produce as much.
