According to Carnegie, survival of the fittest is economic competition, he believes the great wealth, at the end, should belong to those who originally created the wealth the begin with. He believes people shouldn't leave their wealth to their children nor should they horde their money through their lives only to give it away in death. He also believes that people should set the ideal example of modesty and do what benefits the community with the money they make

    1. Survival of the fittest refers to a theory of evolution by Charles Darwin. According to this theory, the most healthy or well adapted organisms have higher reproductive success in order to pass on their genes. On the other hand, weaker and less well adapted organisms have less reproductive success and as result are likely to become extinct. According to this theory, wealth is in the hands of few due to economic competition in society. Wealth ends up being in the hands of those who successfully grow their own wealth in the first place.

    2. Andrew Carnegie is best known worldwide as a big steel tycoon in the 20th Century. His theory called 'The Gospel of Wealth' is highly popular. According to Carnegie, wealthy individuals should not: pass on their fortune to their children and should not hoard their wealth and finally give it up at the time of their death.

    3. According to Carnegie, a rich person should be selfless and generous with his wealth and fortune and use it to better the life of his own community. Rather than hoarding money or spending it solely on family members, wealthy people should spend their wealth in a philanthropic way in order to improve the lifestyle of communities.
