Sarah Friedman leapt from an open ninth floor elevator door to escape the Triangle Factory Fire.
During the fire, over 100 mostly young migrant women were either burnt alive or jumped to their deaths. She only escaped because she leapt out of the ninth elevator. She dropped by the elevator cable.
