What was the political influence if divine rights of kinda and how they gained favor in Europe by 1700

    The divine rights idea was that you should listen to your king because by supporting him or her you are a good christian. Insubordination is not only bad for the government, but it will also be the anti-religious thing do to. Therefore, those who would rebel would be punished by god. This was very important as propaganda for keeping the people in check.
