It protects the rights of firearms. The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." (I got that from google). Its protecting us from the government taking away guns basically. Its preventing more gun laws. Gun laws interfere with the constitution because it makes it hard for people to get guns. Its our right as citizens to own and buy guns.
