How did the Connecticut Compromise in the Philadelphia Convention lead to the acceptance of the Constitution?

    It led to it because it allowed for a bicameral structure with proportional representation based on the number of citizens in a state. If it hadn't been for it, there would probably only have been the senate which would be bad because it would mean that huge colonies would have just as many senators as the small colonies which would be bad for those people.
