The answer is true. Humans first survived by gathering roots and fruits that were edible. Later they learned how to fashion weapons from wood and stone that they used to hunt animals. With these tools they now acquired meat and grew stronger. From hunting, they learned how to plant and raise animals and this led to small communities.
