How was the french constitution of 1795 different than the old one?

    Quizlet ... The constitution in 1791 was declaring that no man had more power than the other. The constitution of 1795 was declaring that France would be divided into to two houses. It made two legislative houses. Members were chosen by electors. Only those who own or rented land worth a certain amount could be electors. This was different from the universal male suffrage the Paris commune's demanded.
