Imperial powers had dominated and conquered other colonies which allows access to a lot of resources. With the resources it then allowed humans to get better technology. For instance if Britain didn't imperialize India or China then they wouldn't be the way they are today. Britain took over China and India which allowed economy to flourish during the time they imperialized the colonies and after. With the tea that Britain had it allowed for tea houses to be made and companies for tea started to arise such as Lipton. As for India, the machines that were used to boost the textile industry were left In India after Britain stopped imperializing. So now India's economy flourished which stopped them from mass famine as they had overpopulation issues. Also because of The British imperialism we had the Indian Nation Congress with ghandi which showed the world that not everything had to solved with war or passion.
