Explain how the differences that existed between North and South from the very beginning of colonization in North America lead to the Civil War. Use evidence from the "Irreconcilable Differences."

    Okay so, I don't know if this answers your questions exactly but, the South had lots of slaves and was more rural. North had no slaves and was more urban. South had cash crops, cotton gin, immigrants, plantations, and they didn't have education and things like that. North had education, cities, industry, etc.

    Also, The Civil War started because of uncompromising differences between the free and slave states over the power of the national government to prohibit slavery in the territories that had not yet become states.

    Rural = ore countryside

    Urban = more city like
