In hope that you mean Powhatan Confederacy. Powhatan confederacy is the name given to a group of native tribal people of the 17th century that settled in the state of Virginia. This group was powerful enough and it grew more powerful under the leadership of Powhatan. In the initial stages the Powhatan group was made up of about 30 people that spoke the Algonquian language. The tribe not only occupied Virginia but also occupied Southern Maryland and Chesapeake. Powhatan's father was initially the chief of the tribe that settled in Virginia. The Powhatan confederacy was also known among people as the Virginia Algonquin.
