In what ways did the outside influences affect Nubia development?

The people from Nubia adapted many traditions and customs from Egypt when they were under Egypt's control. The Assyrian conquest forced the people from Nubia to go back to the south where they settled in Meroe and experienced prosperity. This is how the outside influences affected the Nubia development.
