    According to Kwame Nkrumah, former Prime Minister and President of Ghana, who lived between 1909 to 1972, proposed Unification of African states on countries, be living that, when African countries are united, they will benefit more rather than trying to develop separately.

    Hence, he identified various benefits unification of African countries will derived. Some of which are:

    1. Economic independence: through unification of african countries, africa will be able to achieve control over economic decision-making and the national economy, and in turn, it will lead to the establishment of a firm industrial structure, which will result to various self-generating and self-sustaining growth, and a diversification of external economic contacts meeting with the african's economic interests'.

    2. Freedom from Neocolonialism: a united african front will resist and stop neocolonialism, a situation in which developed countries of the world still used new means to exploit and take advantage of African countries for their selfish gains, against the development of African countries.

    3. Achieving International power relation: the unification of African countries will eventually give the Africans the opportunity to be part of the resolution teams due a strong base and power support. Hence, Africa will be able to contribute to global world orders, advancing the commonality interest of human kinds, without being left behind.
