Explain the main reason for the increased migration of africa americans out of the rural south during/following world war 1?

    The increased work opportunity in northern factories for wartime production led African-Americans to move to the north to take up these new opportunities and live in a less segregated area. The roaring twenties followed ww1, and due to high consumerism production was kept at a high rate, keeping this extra work opportunity that led to more migration.
