Explanation:
Since the power is 2 you do 2x2 because you are just multiplying the number by itself as many times the power says. So an example would be 5 to the power of 3, you would do 5x5x5. First you would do 5x5 which equals 25, then you would do 25x5 which would equal 125. Just so you don't get confused the answer to your question is 4.
