When the History Detectives look in newspapers outside of Austin, they found out the same details as the newspapers in Austin and they also found an article regarding the trial of Philips. The article contains the name of Nathan Elgin, a young-African American that had been shot by the police when he attacked a woman in a bar. It was also said in the article that Nathan's toe wasn't on one of his feet and this foot matches the footprint of the Ramey girl's crime scene.
