What has become of many of the Palestinians who became refugees in 1948

Many still live in refugee camps

Most have become Israeli citizens

They have been given a state in there own in which to live

They have given up any claim to return to the land they lost in 1948

    This is such a complicated situation. On the one hand, the Jews have set up a state and homeland and are entitled to it; but on the other hand, this land was previously (and in many cases is still) inhabited by Arabs (Palestinians) and Christians who also feel entitled to a safe space.
