How did Eleanor Roosevelt put the position of First Lady on the nations political map?

    Eleanor Roosevelt, one of the most respected ladies in American history, went about as first woman from 1933 until 1945, longer than some other presidential companion, and put that position on the country's political guide. However, incidentally, Eleanor didn't want to take up the job.
